The 1771 Skilling coins were made at three different mints from 1771 to 1786.  Over 50 million coins were produced.  There are over 900 varieties of the coins that could be collected.  Only about 3% of the coins were made at the Kongsberg mint in Norway.  These coins are now unusual to find, and sell for $100 to as much as $5000 each.  A total of 87 different die varieties are known.<br>This book is a full color spiral bound catalog of the various die varieties. A total of 188 pages of information are included.  Each variety is illustrated with descriptions of how identify them.
